Please view The Amazing Spider-Man Day of disaster illustration process. I initially illustrated on a 9 x 11 sketch book using a mixture of Copic markers and Pigma Micron pens. Once I was feeling like I had reached a stopping point I scanned the page and added color using Adobe Photoshop. This illustration has our friendly neighborhood hero emerging from debris and ruins after having a disastrous day but not giving up and preparing to fight back to make a difference.
This icon was inspired by the 1982 Marvel comic book Two-In-One Annual number seven. Ben Grimm gets into a brutal boxing match with an alien for the fate of the Earth. In a courageous effort, the Thing refuses to quit and earns the respect of the alien and decides to spare the Earth. After reading that story, who wouldn’t want to join his boxing club. I used Copic markers and drew all four famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles individually on mix media paper and then combined them digitally. Before transferring the traditional drawings digitally, I colored each member with their own unique color with Copic markers. Leonardo blue, Donatello purple, Raphael red and Michelangelo orange. I posed each member distinctively since they have their own unique personality and weapons. On one piece, I assembled the ninjas together with a grimy street ally wall background and used the commonly abbreviation TMNT title head. The other final piece I incorporated their animated version title with each Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle on their own distinctive corner with their color theme and attitude.
The Latverian Supreme Leader Dr. Doom holds a powerful grasp of power unequalled to many in the cosmos. Drawing this iron masked sorcerer is always fun. I drew him conjuring up unmeasurable power in front of his castle preparing for the foes that don't understand his brilliance.

Drawing Ororo Munroe "Storm", the weather controlling priestesses, was a bit of a challenge. The illustration was originally started with traditional pencil and ink. I was not planning on coloring this piece but decided to add color with marker and later enhanced some details digitally. Original artwork is on an 7x10 Canson Mix Media pad. I used a Non-photo pencil, Mechanical pencil, Micron pens, and colored with Copic Inks and Adobe Photoshop.
