This icon was inspired by the 1982 Marvel comic book Two-In-One Annual number seven. Ben Grimm gets into a brutal boxing match with an alien for the fate of the Earth. In a courageous effort, the Thing refuses to quit and earns the respect of the alien and decides to spare the Earth.
